First broadcast Thursday 12th December 2019 1am-6am on Channel 107 & Cream.

Audio processed in "chartsound".

Idents and editing by Michael Farrie. It was a Cream Radio production for Channel 107.

Without being able to be as comprehensive as BBC ONE's coverage or something of the 2019 Snap general election, the coverage of Channel 107 & Cream had to come up with another ace up its sleeve, it combined the slow trickle news of results coming in through the night with a mini marathon of the biggest hits from the tens working its way through the night from 2010 through to 2019.  As election results were cut in across the decades biggest hits, there was one more thing going on in the coverage, the chance to hear the 107 Election Interviews gathered from 2 Labour MP's, the leader of Welsh Labour and Louise Gittins a local Little Neston Labour councillor, it's not going to win any non bias awards, but the coverage itself tried to be with the odd slip here or there.
Early on it was obvious right from the get go that Conservative PM Boris Johnson wasn't going to suffer from no hung parliament, and Jeremy Corbyn faced a Brexit based wipe out, meanwhile the local area Cream broadcasts managed to hang on to its red Labour credentials throughout with all local Labour MPs of the Wirral, Chester & Liverpool not just hanging on to their seats but keeping pretty sizeable majorities, so in a slight way, it was little bit of a mixed night, but not that much of one.

2017's show was a disaster, but not as much as the election itself was a disaster for Labour and the leadership of Jeremy Corbyn.  For Boris Johnson fans you must have had a great Christmas.
